BioNitrogen exec arrested

BioNitrogen President and CFO Bryan Kornegay was arrested last week for a grand theft charge on a Hardee County warrant apparently unrelated to the company looking to build a proposed $300 million plant in Taylor County.

City Manager Bob Brown said company officials called him late last week to inform him of the arrest. A joint meeting between the Perry City Council, Taylor County Commission and company officials is set for Friday, Sept. 26, at 4 p.m. in the council meeting room.
