A mothers’ hope: son’s ‘miracle’ recovery amazes doctors

Brenda Urbanski’s world came to a screaming halt on Aug. 13, 2011, when her only child, son Richard (Ricky) Peterson, sustained life-threatening injuries in a horrific four-wheeler accident on Morgan-Whiddon Road.

Airlifted to Tallahassee, Peterson was on life support for three weeks and remained in a coma for three months.
