2014 Distinguished Young Women Program takes the stage at Forest Capital Hall Saturday, Oct. 4

The 2014 Florida Forest Festival Distinguished Young Women (DYW) program will celebrate a “Paradise is a State of Mind” theme at Forest Capital Hall this Saturday, Oct. 4.

Seven Taylor County High School seniors–Niya Lawson, Haley Horner, Viva Gunter, Emily Arnold, Clara Taylor Michayla Mitchell and Jharmara Simmons–will compete for the title of Taylor County’s Distinguished Young Woman and more than $3,000 in scholarships.
