Flu shots available for senior citizens

Flu shots will be available at the Taylor County Senior Citizens Center Wednesday, Oct. 8, for residents 55 and older starting at 3 p.m.

Those wishing to receive the shot are asked to contact the senior center at 584-4924 no later than Oct. 6

Insurance/Medicare cards must be presented at the time of service; Medicaid patients will not be eligible for the shot. The fee for uninsured senior residents will be $20.

The service is being provided by Walgreens.
