Bulldogs travel to Madison to face Cowboys

The Taylor County High football team travels to Madison tonight to take on the Cowboys after defeating their district rivals last season for the first time in 22 seasons.

Last year the Bulldogs used a complete team effort to pull out a 34-33 overtime victory, stopping the Cowboys’ attempt at a two-point try by a swarming Bulldog defense to end the game. Moral Stephens (now playing for the University of Florida) blocked a 31-yard field goal attempt by the Cowboys late in regulation to send the contest into overtime.
