Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Purple magnetic ribbons will be placed on Perry Police Department patrol cars in recognition of October as “Domestic Violence Awareness Month.” Capt. Jamie Cruise (wearing purple in support of the initiative) and Refuge House Outreach Counselor Cynthia Harris are shown above. Additionally, purple ribbon stickers have been purchased so football players can display them on their helmets at the upcoming Homecoming game Oct. 17. Refuge House will have a booth set up at the field with information and purple ribbons available for supporters.
