TCHS announces Homecoming schedule

Taylor County High School will celebrate its annual Homecoming next week, Oct. 13-17.\

This year’s theme will be “The Great Gastsby” as the Bulldogs prepare to face Fernandina Beach at Dorsett Stadium Friday, Oct. 17.

Weekday themes/dress-up days for students leading up to the game include:
• Monday, Oct. 13: Hobo Day
•Tuesday, Oct. 14: Tourist Day
• Wednesday, Oct. 15: The Great Gatsby (1920s)
• Thursday, Oct. 16: Super Fan Day
• Friday, Oct. 17: Orange & Blue (no school for students).

Due to the shortened school week for students, this year’s Homecoming schedule has been modified with the Homecoming Pep Rally set for Tuesday, Oct. 14, at the TCHS gym, 6 p.m.

The Homecoming Parade is planned for Thursday, Oct. 16, starting at 1:30 p.m.
Pre-game festivities will begin at 6 p.m. Friday night with kick-off at 7:30.

Today (Friday, Oct. 10) is the deadline for parade entry forms (must be returned to Laurie Wynn or Tracy Barnes).
