The Pride of Taylor Marching Band led the way for Thursday’s Taylor County High School Homecoming Parade, which wound through the school district before finding its way downtown.
Hundreds lined the streets to cheer students as they displayed their school spirit. Members of this year’s Homecoming courts waved from brightly-colored floats and smooth-riding convertibles. Homecoming festivities culminate tonight (Friday, Oct. 17) with pre-game ceremonies starting at 6 p.m., at Dorsett Stadium. Kick-off is at 7:30 p.m. and all residents, alumni and fans are encouraged to attend.
