TCHS golf team falls in sudden death playoff

Taylor County High nearly qualified for the state finals golf tournament this week but lost in a sudden death playoff for region runner-up at the Class 1A state regional tournament held Tuesday at Pensacola’s A.C. Read golf course.

The Bulldogs’ Cole Wentworth did qualify as a top individual after firing a 77 on the tough, wind-swept course.
