All veterans, families invited for free breakfast

American Legion Post 96 will host its annual Veterans Breakfast this Saturday, Nov. 1, from 7-9 a.m., at the post building located on Veterans Drive. All veterans and their families are invited.

The event is being held in honor of Veterans Day, which will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 11, with a ceremony at Taylor County High School following by a flag-raising ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park and the annual Veterans Luncheon hosted by the Taylor County Board of Commissioners.
