Organizers of Main Street Perry’s first “Trunk or Treat” Halloween night, Oct. 31, said they were “thrilled” with the turn-out. Hundreds of children and their families took part in the event, which kicked off at 5 p.m. and wrapped up at 7. Participating businesses, civic groups and churches had “trunk” sets lining Jefferson Street and around the courthouse square.
