Taylor County High School (TCHS) JROTC will host its 28th annual Veterans Day Ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the gymnatorium.
The ceremony will begin at 10:40 a.m. “We ask guests to arrive around 10:10 a.m. We expect courtesy toward our veterans, before, after and during the ceremony. Following the ceremony at the school, a flag changing ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Park at noon. We invite the community and send a special welcome to all our veterans to attend,” 1SG (Ret) Eddie L. Smith said.
Rounding out the day’s festivities, the annual Veterans Day Luncheon will be held at Forest Capital Park, starting at 12:30 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Taylor County Board of Commissioners with sponsorship from a number of businesses and private individuals.
All veterans and their families are invited to attend.
