Veterans honored with three events on Tuesday

They served with honor and now Taylor County residents have the opportunity to thank each and every local serviceman and servicewoman during a host of activities planned Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11.

First, Taylor County High School JROTC will host its 28th annual Veterans Day ceremony, starting at 10:40 a.m. Col. (Ret.) Isadore Rommes will be guest speaker. The program will also feature winners of the annual Veterans Day essay contest sponsored by the community’s veterans organizations.
