City taxpayers will bear an estimated $20,000 in costs for the lawsuit brought against the City of Perry by self-deemed “government watchdog” Tonya Holton.
Holton, a former member of the city’s Code Enforcement Board, Planning & Zoning Board, Board of Adjustment and Tree Board, dismissed the lawsuit Monday, some eights months after filing her initial claim in federal court.
