Georgia-Pacific recently upgraded and replaced all computer systems used at the Foley Cellulose Mill. According to company officials, 60 of the laptops replaced were “close to new and in great condition” so they donated 30 computers to the Taylor County High School and 30 computers to the Taylor County 4-H Foundation.
“Georgia-Pacific and the Foley Cellulose Mill will take advantage of every opportunity to support education in Taylor County,” Public Affairs Manager Scott Mixon said. “We take great pleasure in supporting Taylor County schools and 4-H, and their commitment to education in our community. I look forward to working with both organizations in the future.”
