Rash of vehicle and home burglaries reported in downtown neighborhoods

The Perry Police Department (PPD) is warning downtown residents to be on the alert following a rash of vehicle and residential burglaries in the area.

“These are crimes of opportunities–unlocked vehicles, items such a bicycles, etc., left unsecured,” Sgt. Lin Gray said.
