With the national spotlight bearing down on law enforcement agencies across the country and federal officials promising millions toward the purchase of new security equipment for officers (including body cameras), the Perry Police Department (PPD) finds itself ahead of the curve.
Most officers on the force have been equipped with body cameras for about a year and every patrol car on the road has a camera onboard.
