Minimum wage will jump to $8.05 on Jan. 1

Starting on Jan. 1, Florida minimum wage will be above $8 for the first time after it jumps 12 cents to $8.05.

This follows a 14-cent increase this year, a 12-cent increase in 2013 and a 36- cent increase in 2012.
