Clinic delays keep veterans on the road

With local veterans forced to make trips to other cities to visit a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) clinic, Taylor County’s efforts to establish a new VA clinic in Perry are continuing to move forward slowly.

According to County Administrator Dustin Hinkel, the county has completed build-out drawings for the clinic and forwarded them to the VA for approval.
