A ‘porkalicious’ good time!

After receiving several hours of unordered rain last year, the seventh annual Southern Pines Blues & BBQ Festival enjoyed two days of sunshine this past weekend as more than 30 cook teams from around the state competed for thousands of dollars in prizes while blues bands took the stage to deliver set after set of music.

Festival Coordinator Dawn Taylor said the event turned out “wonderful,” adding that while “it was a little chilly, we were blessed with sunshine all weekend.”
