Tuesday morning crash

No serious injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday morning at the intersection of U.S. Highway 19 North and Willow Street.

Reports indicate a car attempted to cross the four lanes of traffic and pulled into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle attempted the avoid hitting the car, swerving off the highway and downing a stop sign. The truck flipped, coming to a rest on its roof in a vacant lot along Hwy. 19. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, officers reported.
