    Murphy: no licenses requested locally after ban lifted

    When the stay on a federal judge’s decision–declaring Florida’s same-sex marriage ban unconstitutional–ended at 12 a.m. Monday night, gay couples across the state began marrying Tuesday.

    According to Taylor County Clerk of Court Annie Mae Murphy, there have been no requests for marriage licenses here.
