Taylor County has received an additional $500,000 from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to complete the resurfacing of Roberts Aman Road.
County commissioners unanimously approved a supplemental agreement with FDOT Monday evening, allowing them to move forward with the project, but in an unusual move, the board voted to go with the second lowest bidder for the project, citing issues with previous work on Woods Creek Road completed by the lowest bidder, Anderson Columbia Co.
