City worker dies on the job

The City of Perry staff is saddened by the loss of one of its own with the tragic death of Joe Adams, who died while on the job last Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Adams, an eight-year veteran with the city street/sanitation department, fell ill and died while working with a crew on High Street. His collapse occurred at the same time there was a violent rollover crash on U.S. Highway 19 North that injured six people.
