TCHS girls soccer team advances to semi-finals in district tournament

The Taylor County High girls soccer team advanced to the semi-finals of the District 2-2A tournament Monday with an 8-0 victory over East Gadsden.

Taylor County, now 12-4-1 on the season, was slated to face Wakulla (15-11) Tuesday night in the tournament being played this week in Midway. Top seed Florida High (19-4-2) will tangle with Godby (10-11) in Tuesday’s other semi-final match. Tuesday’s winners will square off Thursday at 7 p.m. for the district title.
