Blount drives NFL dream all the way to the Super Bowl

When LeGarrette Blount walked off the field before the end of the game on Nov. 17 and was dismissed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, many thought he had made the biggest mistake in his pro career. But his subsequent signing with the New England Patriots and his record-setting performance in Sunday’s AFC championship game will likely relegate that incident to a distant memory.

Now the former Taylor County High star will be playing on professional football’s biggest stage–the Super Bowl–on Feb. 1.
