Writer, photographer to speak at library Monday, Jan. 26

Writer, photographer and naturalist Doug Alderson will be the visiting author at the Monday, Jan. 26, meeting of the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library.

Alderson is the author of numerous books on Florida, kayaking and nature, including “Wild Florida Adventures,” “Encounters with Florida’s Endangered Wildlife,” “Wild Florida Waters,” “Waters Less Traveled” and “Through Time and Wilderness.”

The program will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the library, located at 403 N. Washington St. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
