Steinhatchee Rise project underway

The Suwannee River Water Management District is restoring the hydrology and water storage of its Steinhatchee Rise property in Dixie County with construction to reconnect more than eight million gallons of water storage capacity and rehydrate about 50 acres of wetlands.
