Red snapper season on the agenda

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will meet Feb. 4-5 in Jacksonville at the Hyatt Regency, 225 E.Coastline Dr. The sessions on Wednesday and Thursday both start at 8:30 a.m. The public is invited and will be provided opportunities to speak.

Highlights of the Feb. 4 agenda include: A Florida Sportsmen’s Conservation Association annual award; A discussion about Florida black bear management and future actions and a vote on establishing Deer Management Units statewide and increasing hunting opportunities.
