Prior to Blount, TCHS alum Brandon drafted into the NFL

Prior to LeGarrette Blount’s pro football career, former Taylor County High defensive lineman Michael Brandon is believed to be the first former Bulldog to play in the NFL.

Brandon, after a stellar career at TCHS and the University of Florida, was drafted in the 12th round (309th overall) of the 1992 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
