County set to re-bid paving project

The Taylor County Commission is poised to re-bid its state-funded resurfacing project on Roberts Aman Road after the contractor they chose earlier last month declined to accept the job.

County Administrator Dustin Hinkel told commissioners during their Jan. 20 meeting that Peavy & Son Construction Co. had decided not to take the job due to having too many other projects in progress.
