Man injured in ATV crash

A Perry man was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville Saturday evening after sustaining serious injuries in an ATV crash.

Brian Barfield sustained several broken ribs, a fractured spine and severe trauma to his face after being thrown from the ATV. His passenger, William Murray, was not as seriously injured, according to reports.
