BCFCU inks deal to purchase Citizens Bank’s Madison branch

Buckeye Community Federal Credit Union (BCFCU) has reached an agreement with Citizens State Bank to acquire the bank’s Madison branch pending state and federal regulatory approval.

According to credit union officials, the acquisition would give the Perry-based BCFCU a second office and provide Madison County with a local community-based credit union option for its residents, with BCFCU tentatively scheduled to assume the Madison operations in June.
