Shooting findings turned over to State Attorney

Officers have completed their investigation into a shooting incident that occurred near the beaches Jan. 10 and turned their findings over to the State Attorney’s Office.

“We have concluded our interviews and forwarded the information to the State Attorney’s Office here, who will be reviewing the case with State Attorney Jeff Siegmeister. Our investigation is finished and, as of now, we have not charged anybody,” Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Ron Rice said Tuesday.
