AMVETS Riders to host benefit Poker Run Feb. 28

AMVETS Riders chapter 20 will host a benefit Poker Run Saturday, Feb. 28.

Proceeds will benefit a local family facing medical and housing needs: the husband is a U.S. Army veteran battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease); the family lost their home in November 2014 due to a fire.

Registration will start at 10 a.m. at the AMVETs Riders clubhouse (1410 S. Jefferson Street). The ride will begin at 11 a.m.

The cost is $15 per rider.
