Quick fire response saves Pouncey’s

A quick response by an employee opening Pouncey’s Restaurant Wednesday morning helped avert what would have been a damaging fire.

City of Perry Fire Department officials said Thursday they were called to the scene later in the morning to survey the damage and make sure the area was secure.
