Clark retires as PPD chief

Perry Police Department Chief Vern Clark retires next week, and members of the Perry City Council honored his 33 years of service during their regular meeting Tuesday. Mayor Mike Deming presented Clark with a plaque and expressed the city’s “sincere gratitude for your dedicated service to the citizens of Perry. We wish you health and happiness upon your retirement.”
