The Taylor County Commission agreed this week to allocate an additional $195,000 toward planned renovations at Forest Capital Hall with the hope that much of the funds could be recouped through private donations and grants.
Last month, the commission awarded Gray Construction along with Clemons, Rutherford & Associates the bid to complete the work on the facility contingent on additional funding being secured to make up a nearly $200,000 shortfall.
