Biker injured in crash

A motorcyclist from Winter Garden was seriously injured in a late night one-vehicle crash on U.S 98 West Monday, Feb. 9.

Richard Dahdah Jr., 59, was thrown from his motorcycle into a water-filled ditch about half a mile east of Salt Grade on 98. When Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper William Ernst arrived at the scene, Dahdah had already been loaded into an ambulance and was being treated by a Doctors’ Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team.
