    City of Perry is soliciting proposals for the collection and storage of shopping carts left unattended on public property. City Ordnance state that unattended shopping carts on public property may be impounded. The successful vendor would be authorized by the City & ordinance to collect and store these shopping carts as scheduled by the City. the vendor would charge and collect a daily impound fee from the owner when carts released.Typical impound fees are between $20-$30 per day per impounded item. Vendor could sell or otherwise dipose of carts not picked up after 30 days, as authorized by the ordinance. Vendor could keep all impound fees & disposal income; no money would be paid to City. Vendor would notify cart owners by 1st class mail when there carts were impounded. Interested parties should submit the following plus any additional information which would strengthen their proposal. Name, address, email, phone numbers of entity, Copy of business tax certificate (business license). Method of picking up carts. Storage location of carts and how site is protected. Copy of liability insurance (if selected City would be named as additional insured.) Daily impound and any other fees to be charged & acceptable methods of payment.     CONCERNING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
    CITY OF PERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
    BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD OF THE CITY OF PERRY, FLORIDA, SERVING ALSO AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF PERRY, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Sections 163.3161 through 163.3248, Florida Statutes, as amended, and the City of Perry Land Development Regulations, as amended, hereinafter referred to as the Land Development Regulations, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the amendment, as described below, will be heard by the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Perry, Florida, serving also as the Local Planning Agency of the City of Perry, Florida, at a public hearing on March 2, 2015 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City Council Meeting Room, City Hall located at 224 South Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida.

    Notice is hereby given that Taylor County will receive sealed bids at the Taylor County Board of County Commissioners, Attn: Clerkís Office, 108 East Jefferson Street, Perry, Florida 32347 (850-838-3506) until          4 pm    local time on  Thursday, April 2, 2015 , for the Corporate Hangar Development project at the Perry Foley Airport, Perry, Fl. Bids must be submitted in a sealed enveloped clearly marked ìBID ENCLOSED: CORPORATE HANGAR DEVELOPMENT; PERRY FOLEY AIRPORT.î  Bids will be opened at the Taylor County Board of Commissioners meeting to be held at the Taylor County Administration Complex, 201 East Green Street, Perry, Florida on  Monday, April 6, 2015  at 6:10 pm.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
    The project consists of providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following:
    Construction of an approximately 3,600 sf aircraft hangar with one 60-foot wide electrically operated sliding door, concrete apron, utilities, stormwater improvements, and other items necessary for the completion of the project.
    The contract time for substantial completion of the work included shall be   120    calendar days from the date of the ìNotice to Proceed (NTP).î  The final project completion shall be   150  calendar days from the date of the ìNotice to Proceed (NTP)î.
    Beginning on  Wednesday, February 25, 2015  , drawings, specifications, and project documents may be examined by appointment at the Airport Terminal Building of the Perry Foley Airport at 511 Industrial Park Drive, Perry, Florida 32348.  Appointments may be made by calling Bill Roberts at Perry Foley Airport at 850-838-3519.   Beginning on  Wednesday, February 25, 2015  , digital copies of the above documents may be obtained from the offices of AVCON, INC., 320 Bayshore Drive, Suite A, Niceville, Florida, 32578, (850) 678-0050, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of thirty dollars ($30.00) payable to AVCON, INC. for each set of project documents obtained. A hard copy of the above documents may be provided at an additional charge.
    Bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total quote must be submitted with the quote. The quote security may be either a certified check or a proposal guaranty bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Quote security shall be made payable to Taylor County. The successful contractor must be able to furnish proof of required insurance, a 100% Performance Bond, and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond, and shall begin execution of this contract within five (5) calendar days following the date of the Notice to Proceed.
    Funding for this project is being provided by the Florida Department of Transportation and will be subject to all applicable requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation grant assurances.
    The successful contract will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Wages paid to employees must comply with the minimum established by the U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination. The successful contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Act (Anti-Kickback Act), the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (CWHSSA), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Executive Order 11246.
    Taylor County has an approved Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program for Airport Improvement Program projects which the successful contract must comply with. The DBE participation goal for this project is 4.78% and compliance requirements are listed in the project documents.
    A non-mandatory PreBid Conference will be conducted at the Terminal Building of the Perry Foley Airport at 511 Industrial Park Drive, Perry, Florida 32348 on  Wednesday, March 11, 2015    at  11:00   a.m. local time (EDT).  Questions relating to the Project Documents will be answered at that time.  Attendance by prospective prime contractors is strongly recommended.

    NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS
    The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting bids for THE LEASING OF FORTY FIVE (45) ± ACRES TO BE HARVESTED AS HAY AT PERRY – FOLEY AIRPORT, PERRY, FLORIDA.
    The 45 ± acres will require the Lessee to establish the site as perennial pasture/hay Coastal Bermudagrass. The Lessee will be responsible for all site preparation, sprigging/planting, fertilizing, and weed and insect control required for the harvesting of hay. The County recognizes the fact that the first two years of the operation of the successful bidder will basically entail grounds preparation and maintenance and improvements of the 45 ± acres with a limited return on investment.
