African-American History celebration is Feb. 28 at Jerkins Community Center

The annual African-American History Month Celebration will be held this Saturday, Feb. 28, at Jerkins Community Center from 2-4 p.m.

Program highlights will include a history of ancestral spirituals/hymn fest, group study, trivia/prizes and refreshments.

Local and area Buffalo Soldiers will be special guests for the event.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
