Largo man killed in crash

A Largo man who was instrumental in a revitalization drive for Largo’s downtown, “Old Northwest,” was killed in a one-vehicle accident here early Monday morning, March 16.

Joseph Anthony Stefko, 52, hit an oak tree head-on about 10 miles north of Perry around 7:29 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
