Suspect ‘armed & dangerous’ (UPDATED)

UPDATE: According to the Perry Police Department (PPD), Andre Snowden, 34, surrendered to law enforcement at the PPD headquarters on March 19 at approximately 10:45 p.m. without further incident. He was immediately arrested and taken to the Taylor County Jail.

PREVIOUS: A verbal argument escalated into violence Wednesday evening and police have an active arrest warrant for Andre Snowden, 34, on a charge of attempted murder.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of South Warner Avenue with officers being dispatched to the area at 7:24 p.m.
