BREAKING: 23-year-old Perry man killed in Friday morning crash

A 23-year-old Perry man was killed in a Friday (March 20) morning crash on U.S. 221 North.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, Joseph Lee Cates was killed in the crash, which occurred at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 221 and Roberts Aman Road.

The driver of the second vehicle (a tanker semi-truck), Eddie Randolph Head, 73, of Blackshear, Ga., sustained serious injuries in the crash and was transported to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital.
