Former Peace Corps volunteer David J. Mather, who served in southern Chile, will be the guest speaker at the Monday, March 30, meeting of the Friends of
the Taylor County Public Library.
Mather is the author of two novels, “One For the Road” and “When the Whistling Stopped,” both set in Chile and loosely based on his own experiences in the country working with the Peace Corps.
The free library program will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
