Refuge House invites the community to attend the second annual “Walk in Her Shoes” parade Monday, April 13, at City Park.
Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and the walk will start at 6.
The first 75 participants to register will receive a gift bag and will be entered for a chance to win door prizes.

The walk will cap an afternoon of activities at City Park supporting Lauren Book’s “Walking in My Shoes” campaign to end child sexual abuse:
• Books with Buddy: Children’s book reading and signing of “Lauren’s Kingdom” with author Lauren Book. Registration begins at 3:15 p.m. and the program will start at 3:30 p.m.
• Calling All Teens to ACTion in partnership with Refuge House: Interactive discussion on “empowering students to be the change and cultivate personal power.”
Registration begins at 4 p.m.; the program will be held from 4:15-5 p.m.
All events are free and open to the public.
