Aucilla’s Williams Fish Camp Landing boat ramp re-opens

Work at Aucilla River’s Williams Fish Camp Landing boat ramp, more commonly referred to as the Mandalay boat ramp, is complete and the facility is once again open to the public.

“The recent Williams Fish Camp Landing improvement project on the Aucilla River was a successful partnership between the Taylor County Board of County Commissioners, D&L Contracting, LLC out of Suwannee and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,” County Engineer Kenneth Dudley said. “This rehabilitation project set out to repair the broken launching area and its well-used loading dock. Through a cooperative effort, this and more was accomplished.
