Although the current plans for Phase II of Rosehead Park look much different than the original vision for the proposed lake in downtown Perry, city officials are hopeful that, after months of negotiations with the Army Corps of Engineers and developing schematics to meet the new design, the agency will accept their engineering plans when submitted to the agency in two weeks.
If they do, City Manager Bob Brown says construction could begin within the next four to five months.
