No injuries reported in lunchtime crash

Lunchtime commuters were forced to detour from Jefferson Street after a two-vehicle crash blocked both lanes of traffic Wednesday, April 29, at the intersection of U.S. 27.

According to a crash report from the Perry Police Department (PPD), Robert Parker, 81, was driving westbound on U.S. 27 in a 1999 Chevrolet pickup when he failed to stop for the red light at Jefferson Street.
