Wentworth wins Pot Williams Golf Tournament with rounds of 69, 71

Cole Wentworth of Perry fired rounds of 69 and 71 to take a two-shot victory over former Perry resident J.B. Wilson to capture the 58th annual Pot Williams Golf Tournament held this past weekend at Madison Country Club.

The Taylor County High junior held a two-shot advantage going into Sunday’s final round as Wilson drew even to him at one point on the back nine before fading on the final two holes.
